Daniel Suvor

Senior Director of the Office of Cabinet Affairs

Daniel Suvor serves at the Senior Director in the Office of Cabinet Affairs, where he coordinates logistics, communications, and policy between the President and his domestic cabinet agencies. He has also served as a litigation attorney for the Centers for Medicaid & Medicaid Services and as Special Assistant to the General Counsel of HHS. Prior to the White House, Daniel worked for the 2008 Obama for America campaign and former Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico. Daniel holds a B.A. from the University of Southern California and a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where he completed a joint program with New College, Oxford University, UK.

Under the Affordable Care Act, for the first time, new historic consumer protections will stop the worst insurance company abuses, by making it illegal for companies to discriminate on people based on pre-existing health conditions, ending lifetime and annual dollar limits on what an insurance company will cover, and capping out-of pocket spending to protect Americans and their families.
